Strategy

  • Communication with Constituents

  • Transparency in Governance

  • Citizen Health and Prosperity

By concentrating on communication, transparency, in addition to the health and prosperity of residents, Linda would like to focus on encouraging a more connected and responsible community in District 5.

Communication with Constituents

Linda believes in ensuring that every constituent has a voice and can actively engage in local issues. She plans to hold regular Town Hall Meetings and conduct interactive surveys to gather input on residents’ concerns and ideas. This will enable her to stay connected with the community’s needs and priorities.

Transparency In Governance

She aims to increase transparency in governance by keeping constituents informed about the City of Franklin meetings, future agendas, and the various decisions that were made. Linda wants to make it easy for residents to participate in the process and voice their opinions. She also emphasizes the importance of accountability, particularly in how the City manages its budget and address overspending. Additionally, Linda advocates for a quarterly report to be published, summarizing the Common Council's activities and decisions, making the workings of the local government more accessible and clear.

Citizen Health and Prosperity

Linda is committed to ensuring that the decisions of the Common Council prioritize the wellbeing of all residents, with particular attention to safety and quality of life. She supports responsible developments that would be a complimentary asset to the city,

while respecting residents' privacy and essential needs. This involves carefully considering the effects on public services (such as emergency services, schools, and utilities), local safety, and the broader community environment.
